"Elena, today is the day we will be getting the official notice from the legal holdings conglomerate as regards the contract we will be signing with them," Andrew said as he kissed Elena intimately.

"That's true and we will be one of the richest elites in the whole of Aurora and beyond. Let me get a call across to Donald" Elena responded picking up her phone to call Donald.

"Hope you are prepared for today's great news," Elena asked.

"Of course I am and I'm sure Father and Mother are also happy to hear this news everything went according to our plan and now that wretched Jared can rot in hell for all I care" Donald responded laughing loudly.

Mr Harrington interrupted Donald's call.

"Donald, what have you done again this time!" Mr. Harrington yelled.

"Father, I don't understand what you are talking about" Donald responded confused.

"Donald, did you see the news? did you see what just happened? The legal holdings conglomerate had just cut down all ties with us!" Mr. Harrington yelled angrily and was shaken.

"No Father, you must be mistaken" Donald responded, still confused as to what is going on.

Elena could hear the conversation over the phone and she was confused until she put on the TV and saw things for herself.

Alexander the vice president of the Legal Holdings company has just released a press statement saying they are cutting off all sorts of business connections with the Harrington family due to the embezzlement case they had a few months ago.

Elena was shocked and scared trying to figure out how the embezzlement case got out. 

"What is going on?." Elena ask confused.

"I will be going to see Alexander and make sure this misunderstanding is resolved." 

Elena said trying to calm herself down.

"Don't worry babe, I am sure this is all one big misunderstanding" Andrew said trying to calm himself and Elena down.

"Don't just stand there looking at me like a fool, do something!." Mr Harrington shouted at Donald which aroused Mrs Harrington's attention from the kitchen.

"What's wrong honey? Mrs Harrington asked worried.

"The legal Holdings had just cut off all business dealings with us because of this useless son of yours!" Mr Harrington responded by shouting but this time he fell unconscious as his blood pressure went up.

"Call the doctor immediately!, Please". Mrs Harrington said, shouting for help.

Hearing all that going on over the phone, Elena knew she had to go to her father's house immediately.

"I heard the news what's going on?, how is Father feeling now? Is he still unconscious?" Elena asked worried.

"The doctor said his blood pressure has risen high" Mrs Harrington responded looking worried sick and crying.

"Don't worry Mom, he will be fine" Elena said trying to console her mom.

" I am going to the legal Holdings conglomerate to have a business discussion with Alexander. I'm sure we will agree and this issue will be resolved" Elena said as she was about to leave the house.

"No, you can't go. You are yet to settle your divorce scandal with that destitute bastard and you are already married to Andrew. So you can't go so as to not stare up another issue. I will go myself" Donald said.

"He is right Elena, let him handle it" Mrs Harrington added.

"Fine mother, he should handle it" Elena responded coldly.

Donald drove off to the legal holdings conglomerate while he made a call to Andrew.

"Andrew you need to come to meet me at the company, I am on my way there now" Donald responded palpitating.

"Fine, I will meet you there" Andrew responded. 

Donald requested to see Alexander on his arrival at the legal holdings conglomerate and he got the worst treatment of his life.

"You have to wait outside while I inform the boss of your arrival" the guards ordered.

"I have been calling Alexander forever and she is not picking up my calls".

"Just let me go in to see her" Donald insisted, trying to force his way in.

 "You need to go back outside and wait till you are called!" The guards ordered as they bounced him out of the reception.

"Okay, okay, fine. don't touch me I will go outside" Donald responded dusting off their hands from his.

"Donald is here to see you, boss, what should I do?" Alexander asked as she walked into Jared's office 

"keep him waiting for some while until I decide what to do with him," Jared ordered.

"Okay boss" Alexander responded.

"You can attend to him now Alexander and do not disclose my identity yet to anyone," Jared said a few hours later.

"You can come in now" Donald was called in to see Alexander

"Alexander, this is a big misunderstanding. what is going on? I heard the news… I just want to believe it is not true" Donald said trying to calm his nerves.

 "Well, it is true. We are cutting off all connections with the Harrington family" Alexander reaffirmed.

"What is wrong Alexander? why make such a decision? I know you have the power to make all business decisions in this company" Donald asked worried.

"Please Alexander, don't do this" Donald pleaded.

"I did not make the decision, the president of the legal Holdings conglomerate did" Alexander responded.

"What? Wait… I don't understand, I believe you are the one in charge of the company" Donald asked.

"The president, Mr Sinclair is back," Alexander responded.

"O…okay, who is the president? I would like to speak with him myself" Donald requested.

"The decision has been finalized Mr Donald and there is nothing you can do about it. Please leave right now!" Alexander ordered.

"Please listen to me Alexander, don't do this for god's sake" Donald pleaded.

"Guards?Take this man out of this company" Alexander ordered.

Donald was thrown out and to his greatest surprise, the reporters were all waiting outside ready to question him.

"Mr Donald Harrington, we heard you had an embezzlement case of over 5 million dollars, in the past few months. how did you do it? why did you embezzle such a high amount of money?" The reporters swamped Donald with a series of questions.

"We also heard that the Apex alliance company also embezzled non-governmental organisation funds for months that were to be used for the poor and the orphans. Is that true Mr. Donald?" 

Donald's jaw dropped on hearing this question. this was a secret that had never been said to anyone before. how did the reporters find out about it? This made Donald's mind reeled in confusion.

"I… I won't be taking any questions for now" Donald responded as he tried to find his way to his car.

Jared from his office watched all the drama unfold as he smiled to himself.

"This is just the beginning," Jared said as he picked up his phone and made a call.

"Is everything ready" Jared inquired.

"Yes young master, all the plans are in place. All we need is your order to execute" the voice responded over the phone.

"Okay then, execute it now" Jared responded.
