108. The Broken Angel
Chapter One Hundred And Eight

Selena found herself trapped in an unknown, small, and suffocatingly dark room. Panic clawed at her chest, and tears welled up in her eyes as she stumbled against the cold, rough walls. The air was heavy with a damp, earthy smell, and her heart pounded against her ribs like a wild bird trying to escape its cage.

In the dim light filtering through a crack in the wall, she could see her own trembling hands, and the sight only heightened her fear. She pressed her back against the wall, trying to make herself as small as possible, as if that would shield her from the nightmare she had been plunged into. But it was the unknown that was the most terrifying - the uncertainty of who her captors were and what they wanted from her.

Unable to contain her fear any longer, Selena's cries began to echo through the confined space. Her voice was raw with desperation, a cry for help that she hoped would reach someone, anyone, who could rescue her from this hellish place.
