Chapter hundred fifty five

The smell of disinfectant and antiseptic stung Anna's nostrils as she lay on the hospital bed, waiting for the doctor's verdict. She couldn't remember the last time she had been in a hospital, let alone had a medical examination, probably when she had lost her child. The sterile environment and the sound of beeping machines only served to heighten her anxiety, she wasn’t so anxious because she knew she truthfully had a baby for Aaron.

“Mr. Churchill," the doctor began a sense of gravitas in his tone. "I've confirmed that she is indeed pregnant, and according to the tests, she is approximately three weeks along." Aaron's face darkened, his features twisting in anger. Anna dared to sit there, a smug look on her face, as if she had accomplished something great. It made Aaron's blood boil, and he struggled to maintain his composure.

Aaron's face was a mask of anger, and he could barely find the words to express his rage. All he could think about was how Anna had taken advantage of him
