Chapter hundred forty six

Aaron paced around the office, his palms, sweaty and knees weak. "Are you okay?" Helen stood at the entrance of the door, her worry-laced face soothing his nerves a bit. "Breathe." She instructed him, which he did without reluctance.

"What was that?" This was a new feeling for Aaron, for a moment there, he had lost touch with a part of himself. In a nutshell, he never wanted to experience that icky feeling again.

"You were having a panic attack," Helen replied, placing the cup of coffee on his table. "Look at me," she gently drew his face, close to hers, her breath fanning his nose lids which caused shivers of delight all over his body.

Helen had been here before, experienced the worst cases of panic attacks, and hated how exhausted she had her feeling. "I want to be here for you, what happens back there?"
