Chapter hundred thirty-one

“Gus, where the hell are you, man?” His voice went straight to voicemail. Gus had still not gotten back to him, days turned to a week, and the end of the week approached speedily without a reply from Gus.

Something was wrong, but what it could be, he had no idea.

The company he swore to protect and progress with honesty, had him wondering if indeed Grandpa Adolph had told him the truth.
