Chapter hundred thirty -two

“Click, click,” went the camera as the forensics analyzed the already decomposed body of Gus. “Another death in less than a week, huh?” Suarez had a face mask clung to his face, as he walked into the “do not enter” banner that sealed the railway off from passers-by.

The call of Gus's demise came in the early hours of the morning when Aaron had Helen wrapped in his embrace.

The dark cloud that hovered over them, seemed to have dissipated as she willingly welcomed his comforting stance on the bed. Aaron slowly dived into oblivion when his phone startled him.

He would have a word with the person who disrupted his sleep, come morning, he thought to himself.

The second ring had him sending a sneer towards the deafening sound that evaded the room. “Won't you get your call?” Helen asked, her voice still high from sleep. “It is way past midnight, whoever it is, can wait.” Aaron remained poised on the bed, his hand snaking its way around Helen's waist. The feeling is intense and tempting.
