Chapter 06

Oliver smiled, he doesn’t blame the young doctor because anyone will find it ridiculous to think he can save the lord’s life without any medical degree.

It also wasn’t the first time that he’s going to be doubted and looked down upon.

Many people didn’t believe him when he first started but now they treat him differently.

They all treat him like he’s the real god of medicine and whatever he says is what they make sure they do.

Anywhere Oliver Hudson’s name is mentioned, everyone fears and refers to him as a demigod.

Oliver smiled again, he removed his hand from his pocket and approached the young doctor with a smile on his face.

“I know it’s unbelievable but you’ll just have to believe that I can save his life.” Oliver explained.

He doesn’t want to fight or get angry because the young doctor has every reason to yell and be angry.

How could an ordinary man save the lord?

“But believe me, this is something I do and just like she said, I can help him.” Oliver continued talking but the young doctor only frowned again.

“I don’t care who or what you think you are to believe that you can help him but because of his granddaughter I’m willing to give you a chance.” The doctor said to Oliver.

“Don’t worry, just get to know me, I’m not here to make trouble.” Oliver said as he brought his hand out for the young doctor to shake.

The female doctor took his hand suspiciously because they all needed to be involved to save the old lord’s life.

Just when the doctor shook Oliver, Oliver held her tightly and in the process there was a little exchange of energy.

The doctor felt strangely, she could feel the heat flow from Oliver’s hand to her hand and then into her body.

She was scared, she looked down at her hand and back up at Oliver, he knew what he was doing and he also knew that the doctor would have questions.

He held her tightly until he was sure that the doctor was fine already, she felt something strange was going on between her and Oliver.

But just when she wanted to remove her hand quickly and in panic, Oliver let go of her hand and looked at her with a smile.

The doctor's eyes were wide open, she thought that Oliver was trying to grope her but she also knew that he wasn’t.

“What do you think you’re doing?” She asked, she raised her hand to hit Oliver but couldn’t.

Oliver stopped her midway and the doctor was still in shock of what was going on.

“How is your period pain?” Oliver asked, “I hope it’s eased now and you’re no longer in pain?” He added.

Oliver had already sensed that the young doctor was having a bad period cramp when he walked in but he never said anything.

He was waiting for the right moment to hold her so that he could take her pain away and heal her properly.

No one knew how Oliver Hudson was able to do all the things he did but no one questioned him as long as he healed people.

“With this, I hope you won’t need to see my medical certificate before you believe that I can help Lord Tate.” Oliver smiled and the doctor was shocked.

Panic rushed all over her and for some time she thought that Oliver was only bluffing and didn’t do anything.

The young doctor rubbed below her stomach and she got more shook. She was not feeling any pain anymore.

“But this morning I was…” the young doctor said to herself as she moved away to examine her cramp but it had completely disappeared.

This isn’t medicine, it’s pure magic.

She looked at Oliver again and her face turned really red when she realized that Oliver knew about her period pain.

“H… how… how did you know about my period?” The doctor asked in a low voice.

Oliver shrugged and smiled as he walked past the doctor to check on the old lord. He needed to examine the man and not be distracted.

He looked at the doctor again and saw that she was still too shy to talk to him or even move near him.

Oliver smiled again, he ignored the shy doctor and took the old lord’s hand to check his pulse.

He was relieved when he got a pulse which means that the lord is still alive but if they don’t save him quickly, he might die.

Oliver stood up and took a long good look around, he did a mental calculation of how everything he was going to do will go.

He made his way to the window to check on the yard and he smiled when he saw that the sun was still up.

“I know how to save him.” Oliver said happily, his voice was filled with relief and the lord’s granddaughter was happy.

“Really? What should we do?” The young doctor asked, she also wanted to help out in saving the lord’s life.

“First we need to move him out to the yard where he can get a lot of sunshine and from there I’ll continue.” Oliver explained.

The doctor thought it was strange to move the sick and unhealthy lord to the yard but she didn’t object.

“Okay.” The girl and the doctor said together. The three of them got ready to move the lord.

They changed him from the bed he was laying down on and put him on a movable bed.

“Okay, let’s go.” Oliver ordered and signaled for them to start pushing the old lord out into the yard.

They all got to work but while they were moving the old lord. Oliver got really busy thinking about what the next line of action will be.

“Stop right now!” An angry voice called from behind them and stopped them from moving the old lord.
