The entire room fell silent at once, they weren’t expecting Arthur of all people to be the one out to kill Oliver.

They were all in the same academy and while Arthur always moved around with Jonathan, he remained friends with Oliver and they never let anything come between them.

“What the fuck do you think you’re doing?!” Lucian asked, his surprise evident in his voice but Arthur’s head fell.

He couldn’t lift his head to look at them because he knew the magnitude of his betrayal. They were all one before, what happened?

He opened his mouth to speak but nothing could come out of it as he looked down at his feet. He couldn’t tell Oliver and the rest who had sent him or he was going to be killed.

“You were trying to kill me,” Oliver added like Arthur didn’t know what he was trying to do, “who sent you?” He asked, knowing fully well that Arthur would never make a decision like that on his own.
