The chase between Megan and the car was intense, fear soon engulfed her and she couldn’t stop breathing hard.

Her breath soon caught in her chest and her heart raced as she kept looking at the side view mirror to see if she lost the car. Picking up her phone, she desperately went through her contact and stopped when she got to Oliver’s number.

She eventually remembered that no matter how much she called him, his number wasn’t going to get through and the car was catching up to her. She looked back and her eyes widened in fear.

Closing her eyes, she stepped on the gas harder than she did the first time as she sped on the highway. It felt like she was the only one on the road and wanted to turn back but her fear wouldn’t let her.

The sound of her phone ringing jolted her out of her thoughts and she saw the caller ID boldly, she was glad to know that her brother was the one calling her and she wondered why she didn’t think of him.
