Chapter 3

"You're finally awake!" Louis's gaze interlocked with a familiar look as his eyes forced an opening.

The blurring vision before him gradually became clearer as the features of this familiar person carved out.

An attempt to rise from the ground that he laid sent a spike of pain running down through his spine and forcing him down his bed once again.

"Don't do that!" The hands tried touching him and helping him out

"You haven't recovered yet!" The voice forced a sudden bitter sense down the throat of Louis causing a scowl on his face as he snapped back the hands of this man in place.

"You're okay?" A creepy smile that was meant to be subtle crept to the face of this man.

However, his intended calming words only brought a growl to the face of Louis as dark memories from the past came racing back into his head.

The creepy face of his stepbrother, the one that presided over his justification from the family, stood before him.

"What do you want?" Inquired Louis, his face filled with resentment for Zick

"What do you mean by that, Louis? Can't I see my brother anymore after a long time?"

Louis refused a reply, his gaze only becoming strong and intense as he shot the question once again.

Zick straightened up with an evil expression to his face. His head straightened right up into the air 

"We want you back, Louis!" 

A bolt of lightning shock from these words came running down the spine of Louis. The same family that wanted him gone years back now wanting him back, it was unbelievable..

Louis' gaze interlocked into the sinister looks of the Hart family representative that was before him.

However they seemed to have forgotten that even though it was for a short period, he was once the heir of the Hart family....

The Hart family was streaming in the resources of manpower and would never need someone like him for anything.

Why the sudden change of heart. He was well aware that the Hart family would never carry out any act without an inner motive.

With his face loosened up, Louis stepped up until he could feel the hot and dark breath that came off from Zick nostrils.

"And what's the reason for the sudden change of heart?" Inquired Louis.

Zick's ever creepy smile deepened into his face. However, he could not hide that Villian looks that laid just beneath his brows.

"Of course the family thinks that it was too harsh on you years back. And is recalling you back!"

A burst of laughter from Louis was almost sent ripping through the heir in an instance. The Hart family not only hated him but also his family who they always claimed was born out of wedlock.

They had always wanted to set him up. And his decision years back was just the means to an end. 

Their motives definitely remained ulterior.

"Too bad to disappoint you! But I renounced being a member of that family years back!" Returned Louis, with a firm gaze.

"You should rethink your position Louis. You know the benefits that you could get from being a member of the family!" He said, however, Louis could not stand that irritating look anymore.

His lungs clustered in an instinct and the hot breath was stung in his lungs as he let out a low growl, in the same way that Zick did years back.

"Get out Zick!"

"You're not needed here!" 

Zick tried putting his calms, however, his words sent an echo rolling through the room once again.

The door splitted open and the Scent of a lady flooded the room. Her rose flower fragrance completely her heart shaped face and perfectly figured body that was enough to steal the heart of any man.

Even Louis that was hard on spec was immediately drawn in by her charms and the strength that she carried in her steps.

"You have to leave right this instant Mr. Zick. And don't ever return here again if you aren't instructed to!" Her words though calm embodied a sense of authority that sent Zick rolling off from his seat 

"You don't have to bite my head off!" Zick eyes were focused on her boobs as he rose, swallowing the embarrassment down his spine with one large gulp.

"Think about what I have said brother!" He said.

Louis still found it difficult to remove his eyes from the lady. Even though his stare dug deep into her gaze, and her perfectly situated facial features, he couldn't pick out any sense of where he had known her from.

"You must be the one that saved me from that accident. Thanks very much!" Louis swiftly reached the conclusion and sent a cold chill down the spine of the lady that was difficult to control.

The fear lingering in her eyes as quickly,she crashed to her knees and the earth trembled under her.

"Please forgive me Sir Louis for not properly introducing myself early enough. I'm your assistant, the one that had gotten you into this mess in the first instance.

I should not have sent you that text. I should have gotten to you myself!" Added Queen.

Her head was still bowed as she didn't dare to stare into Louis's eyes.

"You don't have to worry. It was just a minor fault that was totally not from you! And I'm alright!" Added Louis.

Queen was stunned beyond her thoughts. It was difficult for her to believe these words that echoed in her head.

All the previous bosses that she had have always treated her like she was an object. Some even try to go beyond the broad lines of work to have her.

Louis so far has been the only one to talk to her without an authoritative tune and not to throw blame at her too.

Queen's face was widened with shock.

"You should stand already!" Louis added once again, snapping her off from my thoughts.

Quickly, she nodded her head getting up from her kneeling position. Even though Louis knew that it might not be the right instance, the curiosity that burned through him, wanted to know more about his winning ticket.

"About the message that you sent me. I'm a little bit bored, so can we talk about it?" Inquired Louis.

"Definitely Sir. Louis. As said, your investment in the company boomed and has accumulated over the years.

My previous boss, due to some financial issues, would love to transfer total ownership of the high tower to you for monetary consideration!" Queen explained with her smoothing voice 

"And how much would this money be?" 

"About a billion dollars sir!" Queen returned.

A forced dry cough came running off from the throat of Louis after hearing these amounts. The investment that he made years ago wasn't even close to that.

It was just about five hundred thousand dollars. His bones boiled over with heat as he appeared to stay calm, while inside, he was tossing all over.

"Are you okay sir?" Inquired Queen.

"Yes! I am. I just wanted to know. What do you really think about it?

I feel that you have been with the company for a while and know a lot about it already. So why don't you tell me?" Louis inquired.

"The current stock of the company runs close to half a trillion dollars Sir. So I feel that it would be worth the investment."

Louis's eyes almost came crawling off from his eye sockets. The words sent a quiver immediately running through his body.

It was unbelievable. That he had almost 80 percent of that money that had been mentioned.

His body ran over. His head suddenly ran blank with numbers. 

A few moments with his head still storming off with the shock that ran through his body, Louis nodded calmly.

"You're right. Due to my state, I'm afraid that I would have to task you with carrying out the process!" Louis said 

Queen, though shocked, nodded her head. It was her normal duty to go through all the paperwork of her boss.

"I will get everything ready Sir Louis. And also bring All the documents needed to be signed over to you!" She added.

Queen's strong steps were about to evict the room when Louis stooped her, his eyes forcing itself to run down her boobs but he controlled the urge.

"I want you to also do a quick check on the Hart family and their current state!" 

"Okay sir!" Queen returned and was off from the hall.

Louis was basking with excitement. He almost ripped off from the drip that had been placed into his arms.

He was close to a trillion dollars rich from an investment that everyone thought had failed years back. He was rich again.

Though Louis remained glued to the bed, he was still boiling over with excitement inside.

His body surged. Somehow, he felt that the sudden return request from his once family could be related to this. However there was only one way that he could find out.

Louis's spring flow of excitement was suddenly interrupted by a barge right through the door.

His eyes met with scornful stares and a man that would pass for a doctor, shivering in his white robe as he pointed out to Louis with his words quivering on his lips.

"That's him!" He announced to Louis utmost confusion.
