117. Threatening Dominic's Family

Kalix returned home, not for rest or to eat or drink, but to search for his mother's phone and check it. When he opened the phone, as he suspected, it was indeed from a number he hadn't seen in a long time but was very familiar. It was the number that had repeatedly contacted him in his previous life, threatening him. Staring at a series of numbers that even after years couldn't be forgotten, a sense of disgust crossed Kalix's eyes.

Considering what Mason had done, he felt nauseous and wanted to vomit.

However, the phone in his pocket rang, redirecting his thoughts back to reality. Indeed, he no longer lived under Mason Dominic's control or any other Dominic family member. He had lived his life according to his own desires and done so very well.

He was different from the lonely and foolish Kalix of the past.

Calming himself, Kalix took his phone from his jacket pocket and answered Eugene's call.

"Are you okay?" It was the first question Eugene asked, unconsciously making all the disco
