132. Agreeing to Move

Persuading Grace to move to the capital was not easy for Kalix, as he presented various reasons for his relocation plan. He also expressed his concerns, although not explicitly. Kalix had already shown enough that he worried about his mother.

Grace certainly realized this, she sighed deeply, saying nothing more. She put down her utensils, drank some water, and wiped her lips before getting up to leave after saying goodnight.

Leaving Kalix and Eugene staring at each other in helplessness.

Eugene nodded gently and reassured, "Don't rush too much. We'll try to convince her again tomorrow."

Kalix nodded and then said softly to the woman, "Thank you."

"For what?" Eugene lightly pinched Kalix's waist, making the atmosphere calmer than before.

The next morning, Kalix still wanted to persuade his mother to move, but he abandoned his intention when he saw his mother already dressed neatly and being escorted by Eugene.

"Where are you going?" Kalix asked confusedly.

"To the cemetery, didn't mom
