64. Drop Out

The victory of Carl’s group should have brought joy to Professor Anderson, but currently, he wore the most dismal expression in the dean’s office.

Professor Anderson snorted coldly as he said, “You know Kalix’s abilities, he can be considered a one-in-ten-thousand talent, and yet, we’re letting him drop out of school.”

The dean, powerless, sighed, his expression complicated and reluctant. “I tried to persuade him, but he insisted on his decision. Even his guardian agrees and leaves the decision to Kalix.”

Hearing this, Professor Anderson could only contain his raw dissatisfaction.

What could he do when persuasion alone couldn’t accomplish it?

Seeing his complex expression, the dean said, “Why don’t you try persuading him? Perhaps your persuasion will move his heart.”

“Impossible. Kalix is not easily swayed. When he says he’s leaving school, he will do as he said.”
