Throughout the journey with the man, Keysa's mind remained unsettled.

"Who called Billy earlier? I know there must be someone important since he didn't mention it to me at all."

Keysa squinted, trying to guess who might be the person whose message Billy had hidden.

If only there was clarity in their status beyond just being ordinary friends. Keysa would surely be able to freely check the man's phone.

Unfortunately, all of that could only be muttered by Keysa. It wasn't the reality that actually happened.

"Do you know where it is?" Billy asked the woman.

Keysa seemed still lost in her thoughts.

"Key? Can you hear me talking to you?" Billy asked but still didn't get a response from the woman.

Billy furrowed his brow, feeling ambiguous about the woman who had been silent since earlier, not saying another word.

"Key? What's wrong?"

Billy touched the woman's smooth hand, which was right on her thigh. That certainly made Keysa snap out of the reverie that had briefly consumed her.
