Audi seemed to clutch her stomach, rubbing it in hopes of silencing her growling hunger.

"Lucky he's wearing a helmet. Otherwise, he'd definitely mock the sound of my stomach," Audi expressed her gratitude. She then tried to glance to her right and left, hoping her stomach wouldn't make noise again.

However, unbeknownst to Audi, Xavier could still hear it all. Just like his eyes, sharp as an eagle's gaze searching for prey, his hearing was equally keen.

"Eh? Why did it stop?" Audi blinked.

She glanced at the watch on her wrist, still plenty of time before work starts.

"I'm hungry," straightforward and clear.

The man then dismounted his bike, leaving Audi to grapple with all the thoughts in her head.

"Is he really hungry? Didn't he have a huge breakfast this morning?" Audi felt something was off at that moment. However, in pursuit of a bright and happier morning, she decided to set aside her concerns for now.

She chose to follow Xavier for the sake of her well-being.
