Olivia's pov

I have never seen this side of Angelo, he seemed to hide it so well, away from anyone, away from the world. Who would know that he could smile or make a woman laugh like that?

Thinking of what it was that left him so heartbroken, I can only imagine. Perhaps, it is not from heartbreak, not all pain is caused by it. If it is pain, I sure do know how that feels and I know that you never recover from something like that.

"Are you home now?" I asked when he called

"Yes, thank you for a pleasant evening"

"I should be thanking you, you came out all the way here just to see me and make sure that I was okay. So, thank you" I said with an emphasis on the "thank you"

"I wanted to come, it was my choice. Besides, I feel partly responsible for some of the pain you are passing through"

"I have told you to stop saying that. And thanks to you, I was able to get rid of some of that pain"
