Simon didn;t know exactly how long he was out. He has no idea what day it was today and how many days or weeks he was sleeping. Hell, he doesn’t even know where he was right now.

All he knew was that he’s lying in a soft mattress with the smell of disinfectant reeking in the room, if he’s even in a room.

Disinfectant. He was probably in a hospital, but why. That question floated in his mind for a few seconds before he finally realized what happened to him in the past.

He was on his way to his party when they were blocked by armed men and fired at them. He lost consciousness and when he regained it, the car was burning.

All of his men were dead, including his driver Elton and Giovanni, Marcus was probably dead too.

Pain for the death of his people whom he considered friends washed over him. And with that he abruptly opened his eyes.

He survived, and that only meant two things. Someone saved him from the certainty of death or those who wanted hi
