The Painful Truth

Donald poured the two glasses with a very expensive wine. They were now alone in the room, the security personnel and Rina left when Donald told them that they needed privacy.

Simon sank into the couch. He admitted that it felt good to meet an old friend.

“Damn, how the fuck are you alive? I mean, it was all over the news, man. It was fucking crazy! I mourned for you, you bitch!” Donald gave him the wine.

Simon chuckled, he took a sip of the wine and groaned in satisfaction.

He nodded and he took another sip. “This is good.”

“Yeah, it’s fucking expensive, and you’re one special guess so I wouldn’t mind.”

Donald raised his glass and chugged on its contents.

“So, what brings you here, Salvatore? I know you’re in hiding, but coming and risking your security must mean something.”

Donald’s voice became serious, he had his eyes pierced on Simon’s as he waited for Simon to spill the beans.
