"Mister Blackwell, Miss Lilian has arrived." Damien's new secretary, now a woman, tells him solemnly.

Damien raises a hand but never lifts his head. "Let her in."

"Yes, sir." the secretary proceeds to open the door to a woman clad in bright purple. The color of mauve was Lilian Claude’s signature. She sassily walked inside the office and gave the secretary a demeaning look from top to toe. The secretary walks out of the room to leave them alone.

Damien looks at her. Lilian smiled and then slowly lifted the handbag hanging around her arm.

"Why did you come here?" he asked her in an unwelcoming tone.

Lilian sweetly approached him and took the seat before his desk. "I'm in a wonderful mood today, cousin," she says. "After all, just five minutes with you in that elevator secured me a thousand-dollar handbag from my mother."

"I'm glad you got something from it," Damien replied, but his voice showed no interest. "You're done thanking me. You can leave now."
