Chapter 111

With less than two hours to his departure, Sean ran around making some calls until he was able to buy a ticket for Rebecca, at an extremely high price.

He races back to her, holding the ticket triumphantly. “I got it!”

Rebecca jumped up from the seat. “How did you even find one of these?”

He just smiled. “Got lucky, I guess.” The truth was he saw a man who decided to cancel his flight but persuaded him to buy the ticket instead of getting refunded. It was risky but worth it.

“What about clothes?” She reminded him. “I don't have any luggage with me, nothing.”

He easily waved off her concerns. “We can easily get you some things when we land, it's too late to go back home and grab some things anyway but in the meantime, you can use mine.”

“That’s sweet, thanks.” Her face turned red, and she tucked a stray strand of hair away from her face staring intently at the floor. “

Sean excused himself to get some snacks and when he came back, Rebecca was fast asleep.
