Chapter 112

The shrill ring of her alarm joked Moriah up from her deep slumber with a gasp. Thankfully, she was alone in bed so she didn't have to worry about waking her husband.

Pushing away strands of hair from her face, Moriah tried to control her breathing reaching out to her bedside table to stop the beeping.

Her heartbeat slowed to normal but she sensed that sleep was far away.

Flinging back the bedsheets, Moriah swung her leg over on the bed shuffling her feet into slippers.

Glancing at the digital clock propped up on the table, she noticed it was just 6:15.

She shrugged the robe over her nightgown, tightening the sash over her midriff.

After slashing cold water on her face to properly wake her brain up, Moriah made her way to the kitchen.

Her house, just like any of the Lamberts was massive.

Eight bedrooms, two master bedrooms, a lounge, a heated pool, and state of the art cinema and game room. It even had a ballroom, not that it saw much action.
