Chapter 113

A quick shower made Moriah feel good again and in less than an hour, she was dressed up and ready to go to the company.

Caesar wasn't picking up her calls, so she was clueless about what was going on. The only reason why he would schedule such an impromptu meeting is if he had something important to share but if he did, shouldn't it have been run through by her?

It was a bit confusing.

As she rushed out the door to where her driver was waiting, Adriana called out to her. “Mrs Lambert! You forgot your coat!”

Pressing a hand to her chest, she stopped to take it from her. “Oh, thank you! It is freezing out here.”

“Do you have any idea what the meeting is about?” She asked.

Moriah shook her head. “Not a clue. I have to go now or I'll be late.”

“Stay safe!” Adriana called out, hanging back as Moriah rushed into the safety of the bulletproof car, standing by the curb as she watched them go.

Fortunately, Moriah didn't have much time to dwell on the mystic nature of the meeting because as soo
