Sean could hardly believe his eyes, his mind running at a million miles per hour trying to figure out how to mitigate the damage.

The annoying parts were that the blogs were portraying his bad sides, circulating the clip where he looked guilty and not showing the one where he tried to speak up for himself.

Reading the comments was even worse. People blamed him, siding with Amelia's family.

Many times, he was tempted to post something debunking the claims but he knew that would only add fuel to the flames, and give their lies more traction.

Sean shot a message off to Rebecca, powering his devices down after telling her to push back his appointments.

All he wanted was a fucking break.

Already, a headache the size of an anthill was forming at the base of his skull.

Fixing himself a quick breakfast made of scrambled eggs and toast, he popped aspirin in his mouth washed it down with water, and promptly went to lay down.

But even with his eyes closed, Sean couldn't get his mind to shut off
