Chapter 22

Jake frowned and took a step back from the monster in front of him. It was majestic, but the dread it instilled in the place was difficult to describe. Jake had faced a guardian monster before, but the overwhelming power of this high tier creature still tingled his spine.

“Look at your face!” Eleazer said while sneering and walking towards him. “It seems that you saw a ghost!”

He didn’t reply. He stepped back again as he sensed greater danger. He wanted to know the opponent’s next move first before he made his own move.

“You know the Eldratome and you have the Aetherlock, you must know these kinds of monsters as well,” Eleazar continued. “And you know what they are capable of.”

“How did you get a contract with this kind of monster? Andrew’s Atlas was understandable, but summoning an abyss guardian requires a lot of sacrifice and magic energy. This is forbidden magic!” he replied.
