Karlow stood up. His shoulders were shaking, and there was a scary grin on his face. He spread his arms, and the bastard swords in his hands turned into rapiers. He then cast a spell while locking his eyes on Dragon and his swords and arms were gradually surrounded by swirling flames.

His eyes turned orange, and they gleamed like stars. And the lion tattoo on his back roared.

“I won’t make this too long, Dragon,” he said while smirking. “I don’t like wasting any time.”

“Be my guest,” Dragon replied with a smile.

Karlow vanished, and he appeared on the right side of Dragon. Dragon put up a defensive stand, but Karlow vanished in front of him and attacked him from the left. He was able to raise his guard in time, but the burning rapier grazed his left cheek and ear, causing that side of his face to bleed.
