"Cerulean, can you stay here while I go out to get some water?" The lady asked her young son, who was curiously examining the man on the bed.

"Okay, Mommy, but what should I be doing?" the boy replied, lifting his head to look at her with eyes that were strikingly similar to hers. This wasn't the first time he had seen blood or injuries as his mother always brought injured animals home to treat them and he always helped.

"There's nothing to do right now, just sit here while I go get the water," she said with a soft chuckle, ruffling his hair affectionately.

Despite the slight unease she felt about leaving her child with a stranger, she knew that without proper medication, it would be difficult for this young man to wake up on his own. Even if he did, she didn't think he would pose a threat to her or her son.
