Elliot excitedly raced to the grand entrance of the restaurant.
Without hesitation, he walked up to an elegantly dressed couple approaching the entrance. “Hello,” he greeted, eagerly holding up the card. “I have a special offer for you…” The man barely glanced at him before saying, “Not interested.” He then pushed him out of his way with a finger as if swatting an annoying fly. But Elliot blocked their path again with a polite smile. “It’s..” he began, only to be cut off by the woman. She sniffed, her eyes scanning him disdainfully. “Who let a filthy beggar like you stay around here? Get out of my sight now you scumbag!” His face fell. “I’m sorry,” he said and left. Elliot saw a group of men chatting close by so he tried again. “Excuse me,” he said confidently. “Please, can I have a moment? I think you’ll be interested in my special offer.” He held the card up to them, but they kept chatting like he was invisible. Elliot, however, moved closer, trying to get their attention. As his shirt accidentally brushed against one of the men, the man burst out in rage. “Who the fuck let you hang around here, you dirty pig? Get out of here!” he shouted, shoving Elliot hard and sending him crashing to the floor. The group laughed and walked away. Suddenly, a security guard appeared and violently pulled Elliot off the ground. “You need to leave,” he said, pushing Elliot away. After the security left, Elliot continued, carefully approaching others with his offer. Not long after, he sighted a luxury car pull up at the entrance, and a middle aged man stepped out. He quickly went to meet him and showed him the card, asking if he was interested. The man’s eyes widened the moment he spotted the card. He immediately took it and accessed it, his brows furrowing deeper the longer he looked. “Where’d you get this card from?! I’d like to purchase it,” he eagerly said. “How much?” he asked again. Elliot reached into his pocket for the note, “Actually, the card comes with specific conditions,” he said and handed the note over. The man took the note and it read; ‘To whom it may concern, you shall provide the boy with a fully furnished mansion in the prestigious Greenhouse Estate, a sum of one hundred million dollars in cash, and guarantee the care and education of both him and his little sister until they complete their college education. Failure to comply will render this offer null and void.’ “Is this all?” he asked, a bit surprised. He knew the card's value far exceeded the demands outlined, so there had to be more, he thought. But Elliot nodded, confirming that was all. “Wow! Then we have a deal,” the man said, seeing it as an opportunity he couldn’t miss, and extended his hand. Elliot’s eyes widened, his heart filled with joy as he eagerly grabbed the man’s hand and shook it firmly. Meanwhile, as Richard continued his search for a property, a group of burly men suddenly blocked his path. In mere seconds, they covered his head with a mask, shoved him into a car, and sped off. Surprisingly, Richard didn’t resist. Wanting to uncover who was behind this plot, he remained calm. After a few minutes, the car stopped in an isolated area. They violently pulled him out of the car and pushed him onto a chair. “Take the mask off,” a voice ordered and the mask was immediately yanked off. When Richard looked around, it was Dustin, alongside a menacing-looking man, Mateo, and a group of thugs around him. Richard smiled. “You poor loser,” Dustin chuckled, slowly approaching Richard with a smug expression, confident that he now had Richard entirely under his control. “Who do you think you are?” Dustin asked, confidently walking around Richard. “First, you steal my girlfriend, and then you humiliate me in front of everyone. Did you think I’ll let that slide?” Richard chuckled. “God!” Dustin laughed. “Do you know what pisses me off the most about you? You think you’re untouchable… you are annoyingly arrogant, and I’m going to teach you a lesson today!” he sneered with clenched fists. Richard tilted his head slightly, meeting Dustin’s gaze with a faint smirk. “Steal your girlfriend? If you’re talking about Lydia, let me set the record straight.. I have no interest in her. She’s all yours. He shrugged nonchalantly and continued, “As for the shoe-licking incident,” he said, his voice calm but sharp, “you brought it upon yourself.” Dustin’s face turned red with rage, infuriated by Richard’s composure. “You arrogant son of a–!” he cussed, but stopped himself, his hand twitching mid-air, initially about to strike Richard. Instead, he turned to Mateo. “Mateo, teach this smug bastard a lesson!” Mateo was a martial arts expert known for defeating an entire martial arts club single-handedly. So, taking down Richard was only going to be a piece of cake. Without warning, he immediately lunged at Richard, aiming a powerful kick at his chest. But Richard effortlessly moved the chair out of the way, making Mateo lose balance and crash to the ground. Angered, Mateo sprang to his feet with a growl and clenched fists to launch a faster and hard punch at him. But Richard stood up and weaved to the side, before delivering a sharp, heavy punch to Mateo’s jaw. His tooth flew out, and blood began to trickle down his nose as gasps erupted from the thugs. How could this be?? they wondered, their eyes widening in shock. Mateo wiped his nose and after seeing the blood on his hand, he roared and charged again with his clenched fist, “You bastard!” Richard effortlessly caught his fist mid-air with an iron grip and began to squeeze it with so much pressure that Mateo began to bend to his knees, groaning in pain. While at it, Richard looked at Dustin. “Was this the best you could bring?” He muttered coldly and instantly twisted Mateo’s wrist with a sharp snap. “Owww!” Mateo cried out, clutching his dislocated wrist. “What are you waiting for?!” Dustin shouted at the thugs. “Attack him now!” The other thugs lunged at once to attack with their weapons in the air. Yet, in mere seconds, Richard subdued each one, including Dustin. When he was done with them, they laid on the ground, writhing in pain and utterly defeated. “You fucking bastard! You will regret this!” Dustin shouted through pain. “Fuck! You’ll pay for this!” Richard sighed and shook his head. “Empty barrels really make the loudest noise.” He cracked his fingers, flexed his muscles and walked away. Suddenly Dustin’s phone buzzed. “Who the fuck is calling me?” he said, annoyed. But his irritation faded when he realized it was his dad, “Hey dad,” he quickly answered, masking the pain in his voice. His father’s voice was firm yet trembling with emotion. “Son! We’ve done it! We’ve secured the miracle doctor’s exclusive card!” Dustin brows shot upward. “Wait.. You mean the legendary miracle doctor??” “Yes,” his father replied. “Finally there’s a high chance my wife will be cured of her chronic illness. I can’t believe this is happening..” Dustin’s heart instantly filled with joy that he no longer felt pain. “Oh my God! Dad. Mom is finally going to be okay!” he said, tears welling up in his eyes. “I’ll come home right now.” he added, jumping up and racing to his car, filled with hope for his mother's recovery and eager to witness the doctor's arrival.Delilah was seated in her sleek office, reviewing documents when a knock interrupted the quiet. “Come in,” she answered, her focus still on the documents. A young lady gently stepped in. “Ma’am,” she bowed. “I bring news about the miraculous doctor.”Delilah’s gaze froze before she looked up at her. “Yes?”“News just came in that the Runo family have just obtained and activated an exclusive Miracle card.”Delilah’s eyes instantly lit, her brows shooting upward. “The Runo family have the exclusive Miracle card?” she repeated. “Yes ma’am”“But how?” she whispered, her brows furrowing slightly. Delilah couldn’t help but wonder how they were able to get their hands on the card when even her couldn’t. For the past few days, she had been trying to get her hands on one of the cards, but her efforts have been to no avail. “Are you sure of this?” she asked. “Yes ma’am,” the young lady replied. “It was confirmed some minutes ago.”“Interesting,” she murmured. “Get the car ready now.” A
Richard arrived at the location designated by who activated the card, waiting for them to send someone to meet him.It was an outdoor dining area. Upon arrival, after Richard gave certain information to the server, she led him to the reserved seat Dustin had already paid for. And moments later, she brought Richard a glass of wine. “Thank you,” he said, engrossed in the details from his master and wondering who had activated the card. Just then, a luxury car pulled up in front, and Dustin stepped out. When he looked in the reserved area, he saw Richard sitting there. His expression instantly hardened. “Tch. I don’t know why this bastard is here,” he whispered, guessing it was merely a coincidence. Dustin then scanned the area, searching intently for any sign of the doctor, but when he didn’t see any sign of him, he reluctantly glanced back at Richard who was sipping his wine.“The doctor must be running late,” Dustin muttered, stealing a glance at his watch before approaching Ri
“You’ve got steady hands, Richard,” Sia whispered seductively as she stared lustfully at him, biting her lower lips. “Bet they’re good for more than just handling herbs.”Richard flashed her a quick awkward smile, “mm-hmm” and returned his focus to sorting the herbs. Suddenly, a clattering sound echoed in the room and when Richard turned to see, he was met by a familiar sight; Katya’s lacy pants.Just now, she had intentionally dropped the container at Richard’s feet and leaned over to pick it up knowing her short skirt would lift just enough to reveal her underwear. Richard felt his face heat up and he quickly looked away, pretending not to see anything. “Richard!” An urgent voice burst through the door. “Is there an emergency?” His voice was urgent as he washed his hands, ready to respond. “It’s Ginny! She- she’s not breathing well. You need to hurry!” the apprentice gasped.Without hesitation, he left for her ward. Richard walked in just to see Ginny almost naked. With a s
After saying goodbye to his seniors, Richard finally stepped out of the clinic, and immediately he noticed a line of luxury cars just parked nearby. It was strange as this wasn’t a place that often saw such display of wealth, but he brushed it off and kept walking.“Excuse me!” a voice called out.Richard looked and saw a young, beautiful woman approaching him, with a man behind her. “Hi, sorry to bother you. Is Dr Jung available today?” she asked, a hint of urgency in her tone. “No, he isn’t. He left the clinic a long time ago.”Her shoulders slumped slightly as a quiet sigh escaped her. “How long? When will he be back?” she desperately asked. “For about two years now and I don’t know when he will be back. Do…” “Two years?!” Daniel, the man with Janae snapped, his voice sharp with frustration. Their grandfather was seriously ill and they had come, hoping that the legendary Dr Jung could treat him. But unfortunately, their hopes were shattered. “I knew this crap was a fraud!” D
“Look, I had no idea Sir Morrigan had fallen into a coma. In fact I’d like to see for myself.”Delilah frowned, “Are you trying to insinuate that I’m lying or something? You know what, follow me,” she ordered and led him to a room. She decided that she wouldn’t argue with him. She would just take him to see for himself then maybe he would finally give up on the engagement. Richard’s eyes widened slightly at the sickly old man lying unconscious on the bed. He increased his pace to take a look and it was really Sir Morrigan. All the color from the old man’s face had drained. Even his lips were chapped and purple. Every breath he took seemed to drag on forever and he looked as if he were barely hanging on, like a light slowly dimming. Richard lifted his hand gently and took a look at his palm, “Oh no! He has been afflicted with Viperis.”“What the hell is Viperis?” Delilah asked, her face twisting into a scowl. Richard’s expression grew grim as he shook his head, “Sir Morrigan is s
”I’ve only been able to keep him stable for now but he’s still unconscious, and his stability won’t last very long,” Doctor Ben stated. Despite the tension, he had managed to make the old man stable, though his breathing was shallow and irregular. Collin wiped the sweat from his aching forehead. “Please doctor,” he implored with a trembling voice. “Whatever it takes to save him, do it. Anything at all, just save him. We can’t lose him.”With a deep, reluctant sigh, the doctor spoke up. “There’s one more option,” he murmured, a hint of uncertainty in his voice. “It’s the only option left. It might be able to temporarily keep him alive, but it would put him in a permanent coma with uncertain chances of waking up.”Collins‘ brows shot upward in fear, his eyes widening as the words sank in. “A coma… with no guarantee?” He swallowed hard, his eyes darting around as he wrestled with the decision. He hesitated as the risk was high, but the thought of losing his father without trying eve
Lydia raised an eyebrow and let out a short dismissive laugh. She opened the door wide and stepped aside, “Richard, the Rolls-Royce you rented and the actor you hired are here for you.” Without giving it a second thought, she already assumed that Richard had formulated all of it to pretend he was wealthy in front of them. “Good day sir.” The young man bowed. “Your ride is right outside.”Richard immediately recognized that they were from Janae and got up to leave. “I’ll be on my way now,” he told Sir Wilson and bid him farewell. Lydia kissed her teeth loud enough for him to hear, “You’re so pathetic, for real. At least you should have made your looks align with the wealth you’re trying to fake before anything.”Richard ignored her, walked past her and left. Lady Wilson crossed her arms and laughed. “Did he really think we’d be that gullible? Renting a top luxury car and bringing in actors.”“He thought we’d be dazzled and fall at his feet,” Lydia replied and laughed. Sir Wilson
Seeing how Dr Ben was in utter awe at what Richard had done, Collin became quite confused. “Dr Ben, why are you staring at his retreating figure like you’ve just seen a ghost?” Collin asked. “What he did was incredible but it’s just acupuncture, isn’t it?”Ben averted his awestruck gaze to Collin and said, shaking his head rapidly, “The Katharos Needle Technique is not just acupuncture.”“I have only seen this technique in a rare medical manual my teacher treasured so much. And even though I studied it for several years, I couldn’t master it!”“Wow!” Collins' eyes widened, realizing that they might have seriously underestimated Richard.“Janae,” he called, “go after the young man now!”A cold sweat formed on Ben’s forehead as he began to regret his earlier disrespect, realizing that he might have offended someone with such great skill. He wiped his brow and quickly followed Janae, hoping to make amends and apologize to Richard as well.As soon as Janae got outside, she saw Richard j
