Their gaze fell on Samantha as she walked rapidly with a smile on her face as she walked towards Eric, who looked away from her as he wanted to act like he was angry at her. She chuckled lightly, and she sat on the couch beside him, heaving a sigh before she talked.

“I am so sorry for getting you worried. When I just received the call from him, and he asked me to come over, I didn't know what to do. I had wanted to tell you, but he had instructed me not to tell you.” She explained and at this point, Lydia was already smiling.

“You got us all worried. But I am glad that you are alright.” Lydia talked even before Eric could talk, and they both tilted their heads to look at her. Samantha smiled slightly before she inhaled deeply, clearing her throat to talk.
