I don’t want to see or talk to him

“It's Emily.” Her voice echoed and Eric quickly drew his face into a puzzle as he looked at her before she picked up the call and placed it over her ear to talk to Emily. Eric looked away from her as different thoughts ran through his mind. Just then, he tilted his head back to look at Lydia, who was still talking to Emily over the phone.

“Where are you now?” Lydia asked and then tilted her head to look at Eric, who was looking directly into her eyes for a moment before she brought the phone off her ear to place the call on the loudspeaker.

“On my way out of my house, I met someone in front of my doorstep. He is not letting me leave the house. Have you arrived at Master Eric's house?” She talked rapidly, and Eric slowly took his gaze away as different thoughts ran through his mind. “What was she talking about?” He asked himself.

“Yes. I got here not long ago. I thought that I was going to meet you here, but the reverse was the case. Who is that person that is holding you from reaching
