CHAPTER FORTY

He just continued to stare at her, acting like he had lost his sanity. He smelled like cabbage, and she almost threw up the pancakes she ate.

She had to put herself together and sit close to him; she really wanted to know why his life turned out to be like this.

She asked herself if telling him who she actually was would be a good idea.

She answered herself with a mind-making answer.

"Yes, I have to tell him who I am. He has to know what he did to me and how he almost ruined my life.

She adjusted herself and cleared her throat so she could talk well and clearly.

"I am Vivian Thomas, we met at the university a few years ago. We were in a relationship.
