Richard looked at him casually. He looked at Reynolds, who stood at the centre of the lead with ambition in both eyes. "You're too confident that you'll succeed." Richard's hand moved silently across his father's desk.

Reynolds, who did not realise what Richard was doing, smiled with a confident face. "I have my reasons for being confident, and I think you know them."

The men behind Reynolds were all still at the ready with their guns pointed at Richard and were just waiting for Reynolds' signal for them to open fire.
