"They said the road to this place is being diverted, sir, so arriving might take a little longer." The driver approached Richard after reading the message he received on his cell phone.

Richard took a deep breath. "Alright, let me know when they arrive. I'll wait there." He walked towards a tree not far from the building, not among its main parts but still in the same neighbourhood.

Richard sat back under the tree with his feet on his lap and his shoulders resting against it, gazing out at the bustling street. It was unfamiliar because each person was busy with their own business and not paying attention to the other.

Richard's gaze drifted to the bustle, to those passing by, and to what was moving in the wind. He was too tired of many things to find the trivial and simple things around him soothing. At some point, he began to romanticise the simple things that happened around him.
