Anniversary.

"Father," Mr Oliver called to his father, who was about to leave. Mr Cooper turned to Mr Oliver.

"Yes?" Mr Cooper replied, then stood up and waited for Mr Oliver to come to where he was standing.

"There is something I would like to discuss with you," Mr Oliver muttered, looking back suspiciously as if he were hiding something.

"What is it?" Mr Cooper asked, this time in a lower tone because he didn't want Mr Oliver to hear him.

"Where are you going?" Mr Oliver asked.

"To the hospital of course, I have to go for my check-up," Mr Cooper grumbled.

"Well, how about I take you instead?"

"But I already called the driver," Mr Cooper muttered.

"The driver can go back in, I need to talk to you privately, so why don't I take you for your check-up while we talk about this," Oliver insisted.

"I hope it's not something that's going to raise my blood pressure, you know I'm old now, I don't entertain bad news any more,"
