MRS LAURETTE AND THE DOCTOR.

Mrs Laurette knocked on the door to the doctors office.

She waited a few seconds until she heard him say.

“Please come in,” He heaved heavily, letting out a sigh before opening the door.

She walked in and as soon as the doctor set his eyes on her. His eyes lit up in amusement.

“Good day doctor,” she greeted, even when it had not been less than an hour before she saw him, she was nervous. And from the way he stared at her, he was nervous too.

The Doctor cleared his throat.

“Please pardon my manners. You can have your seat,” the doctor said, pointing to one of his chairs. Mrs Laurette took a few steps forward as she sat on one of the two chairs.

“I don't mean to disturb you Sir, I'm just here to apologize for the way I reacted to you earlier. I wouldn't have walked out on you,”Mrs Laurette mumbled. The Doctor shook his head.

“You don't need to apologize, I know how you felt. So tell me, is he your husband?“ The Doctor asked.
