"Darling, sorry I'm late, I got stuck in traffic," Mrs Laurette rushed into the room as she distracted Amber from finishing her explanation to Mr Cooper.

"You weren't gone too long, plus Grandfather was here to keep me company," Amber said.

"And I think my company is over, I'm going to the other room, it's almost like this hospital is my new home now," Mr Cooper said as he stood up and threw his empty tin into the bin before leaving the room.

"Father, please help me say hello to Mother," Mrs Laurette murmured.

"I can see you're out of your mind, if you refuse to come yourself, you don't tell me to help you."

"I'm sorry, I'll come later in the day then," Mrs Laurette said.

"What did he tell you?" Mrs Laurette asked.

"We were just talking about some important things."
