“What are you saying?” Chris felt a burst of anger and he frowned, displeased. “I am not a beggar and don’t look like one. You are the one who shouldn’t be in this store since you can’t be respectful to other buyers.”

The rush from his encounter with Bastien was still registered in his mind and he wouldn't let another person try to insult him again.

“You!” Mrs. Wales was shocked that he talked back at her. “You dare to talk back? You dare talk to me about respect?” She shouted, and even pointed her fingers, poking Chris in the head.

“Can you see anyone dressed like you in here? Is this someplace where you can walk into just as you please?” Her pokes moved from his head to his chest as she almost dug her sharp nails into his flesh.

Even the female attendant, did a double take at Chris to really see if he was dressed as a beggar, and to her, it was kind of true.

“Get your hands off me.” Chris took a step back, slapping her wrist away from his sight.
