Chapter 61

They dusted off their clothes as they stood up. He looked up just in time to see the floor they fell through mend itself.

The fall wasn't a long one, which meant, there were only a few bruises to be seen.

They had barely collected themselves when the fire flared up around them. The fire came from torches that illuminated the space.

The space was a small circular room and it had nothing in it except for the doors that lined every wall. Counting from left to right, there were nine doors in the room.

"What now?"

Aiden did not give a response because his focus was on the floor beneath their feet. She noticed where his attention was focused and looked down.

There were engravings on the ground, marking each section of an engraved circle. All the sections were equal in size, and there were in total, twelve of them.
