Chapter 6: Power

When Jeffrey and Jennifer entered the mansion, they were amazed because the interior was so beautiful and well designed that some with weak wills would feel unworthy to enter.

Pheona led them towards one of the rooms and when they entered, they felt the space in the room was bigger than it seemed but after all they've went through recently, this one was the most normal to them.

Pheona laid on a couch, brought out a bowl of fruits from seemingly out of nowhere and looked at Jeffrey and Jennifer "Now, let's talk more. I have a few questions to ask you and when I'm done you can ask your questions, I'll answer them if I can or want to?"

" Okay" Jeffrey and Jennifer answered as they had no problem with Pheona's words, they were even glad that they have the opportunity to ask somebody for information.

" Tell me both your experiences after entering the void" Pheona said while eating fruits from the bowl.

" The Void?" Jennifer and Jeffrey were confused because according to what Pheona told them, the void means power of Space and Time.

" The dark space which felt like a very viscous liquid was everywhere" Pheona explained calmly and Jeffery understood, so he explained everything he felt and 'saw' while Jennifer explained her own experience where she was knocked out and woke up inside a room but after she heard Jeffrey's voice, she found herself in front of Jeffery.

' That doesn't explain how he was able to stay in the void without dying, as for the girl she seems to have gone to a separate space but I can't see or sense any spatial device on him much less one that accommodates living beings' Pheona looked at Jeffrey intently while Jeffrey shivered as he felt molested from her stare.

" Strip" Pheona ordered.

" Huh" Jeffrey was genuinely confused hearing Pheona's word while Jennifer glared at her, she looked at Pheona and asked " May I ask why my boyfriend has to strip?".

" Hm, I want to check something on his body and besides you should understand something little girl. If I want to take your 'boyfriend', Ican take him and you can't do anything about it. Me asking him to strip and not stripping him myself without asking is me giving me him respect. In the place where I come from, Power is King. Do you think most people will decide to talk to mortals like you, most people will decide to search your memories or torture you instead. There are many women and men that have harems, if a powerful woman sees your 'boyfriend' and she's interested, you can't do anything about it and besides almost every male or female that lives for a long time have many partners, so little girl don't think you can be his only partner or little boy don't think she won't decide one day to leave you alone if you both become cultivators. When Jennifer heard Pheona's words she shook in anger, as she was about to speak she felt Jeffrey's hand on her shoulder and heard his voice

" Babe, calm down. I know what she said is not totally correct but do you think she'll listen to what you have to say. Besides, I'm not leaving you even if I have other women, you'll always take first place in my heart"

After Jeffrey said those words, She felt his hands on her face and then turned to see him planting a kiss on her forehead. She saw his smile afterwards and then recalled his words.

" Babe" She gave a sweet smile towards Jeffrey after hearing his words. Meanwhile, Jeffrey the receiver of the smile shivered as soon as he saw that smile, he started wondering what he said wrong.

" You've been thinking about having other women as soon as you saw her right and you also want a harem right?" Jennifer kept her smile as she asked the question calmly.

As soon as Jeffrey heard the question, he wondered why women always find faults in his words. " Chill babe… Ouch… Chill now"

PA POW PA

" What chill. You are an insatiable and lustful man. We just got into a new world and you start thinking about women so quickly!" Jennifer shouted and continued to beat Jeffrey on his back and chest until she was satisfied until she heard Jeffrey's question.

" Are you satisfied now?" Jeffery asked while stretching his sore body.

"No" She answered with a vexed tone.

' What else do you want from me. I even allowed you to hit me. Girls are something else' Jeffrey thought until he heard a voice from Pheona.

" If you're done little boy, strip" Pheona looked at the two couples with a smile, it looked as if she was not bothered by the fact she was forgotten. Jeffrey quickly stripped but he decided to strip with dignity, at least he thought he was doing that.

" What are you doing?" Pheona glared at Jeffrey as he was stripping.

" Stripping?" Jeffrey answered in confusion.

" I asked you to remove your clothes, so what are you doing?" Pheona still glared at Jeffrey while Jennifer was shaking and holding her mouth.

" Stripping with dignity" Jeffrey answered.

" Stop it, it's disgusting. It's like you saying you're a man, it's disgusting, it's impossible." Pheona said while looking at Jeffrey with a disgusted expression.

" Pffttt, HAHAHAHA" Jennifer laughed so hard, she started having difficulties breathing, as for Jeffrey he was rooted on the spot with his mouth wide open, this was the first time a woman has ever abused his manliness and dignity at the same time.

' No matter what, I'll bang you till I'm satisfied, even if you have a husband or children now or later, I'll bang you and I'll make you mine. Nobody shall ever disrespect my manhood and dignity.' Jeffrey vowed to himself while not replying to her words because his dick shall do all the talking later. He got naked and looked at Pheona, who got up from the couch and observed his body closely for a few minutes.

" Hmm, give me your hands and don't resist. I want to check inside your body" Jeffrey complied after hearing Pheona's words. He looked at Pheona whose eyes were closed for a few seconds and then heard an exclamation from her.

" What happened?" Jeffrey asked after seeing her shocked expression.

" You have a soul gem, how do you have a soul gem. In fact how can you have a soul gem in your spirit and not be dead. Wait, there are runes on it, somebody inscribed the runes, no wonder you're not dead, no wonder you survived in the void"

Jeffrey and Jennifer waited for Pheona to finish talking to herself which lasted for a some minutes with Jeffrey standing still like a mannequin on display and Jennifer looking around the room.

" Can you tell me where you got your soul gem?" Pheona asked Jeffrey to which he shrugged and answered " I don't know what a soul gem is".

Pheona hearing that decided to form a picture from thin air of a colorless beautiful gem which Jeffrey and Jennifer had seen before.

" Isn't that the gift Zhena gave you Jeffrey?" Jennifer asked in confusion.

" Yeah, that's the gem she gave me. I remember now that before I entered the crack, I swallowed something and I was knocked out. Now that I think about it, it should be the gem". Jeffrey looked at the picture of the gem in confusion meanwhile Pheona was stunned.

' A gift?' Pheona looked at Jeffrey in confusion and wondered who ' Zhena' is and also wondering why she gave somebody like Jeffrey a precious item like the soul gem. Most people might not know what the soul gem is, but she knew how useful something like that is and how the top powerhouses would fight for a treasure like the soul gem. She even knew that if Jeffery brought back the soul gem without it being fused with his spirit, she would have taken it for herself regardless of his opinions.

" Miss Pheona, what's a soul gem?" Jennifer asked seeing that Pheona was still in thought.

" I'll explain that to you later, but do you know about cultivation, the cultivation levels?" Pheona asked while looking at the two of them.

" I've read in some novels from our world that cultivation is a way to gain to power and going against the heavens?" Jeffrey answered while looking at Pheona.

" Huh, what going against the heavens, what heavens?. That's just nonsense, it's just a way to gain power, to not make you weak." Pheona looked at Jeffrey like an idiot after hearing him talking about 'going against the heavens'.

" There are various stages of cultivation for humans. There are many races and beings in the universe I came from that almost every race has their own way of cultivation. I will tell you about the first three realms of human energy cultivation".

" Why can't you tell us all the realms?" Jennifer asked curiously.

" Because you'll not understand the realms after those three." Pheona explained calmly to Jennifer and Jeffrey even though they didn't fully understand.

" The first realm is the Foundation Establishment Realm which has three sub realms – Body Tempering, Meridian Opening and Dantian Creation. The Second Realm is, Mana Condensation Realm which has nine sub realms – Mana Internal Flow, Mana External Flow, Yin Form, Yang growth, Mana Creation, Mana Destruction, Spiritual Mana, Mana Essence and Spiritual Mana Essence" Pheona took a break and looked at Jeffrey and Jennifer, she laughed when she saw their confused and distorted expressions as she knew it sounds like gibberish to a mortal but decided to continue.

" The third realm is Life Destruction or Body Destruction, it has nine sub realms. The sub realms are quite easy to understand for this realm, it's just destroying parts of your body. I can't explain it in detail until you reach this realm but you can see why I'm not explaining past the third realm, you've only listened up to the third realm but you're already confused. Anyway once you start on your cultivation journey, you'll know what POWER is".
