Chapter 13

Mr. Abbot was a fine man, tall and slender, a far cry from what Jason had expected from someone who was going to retire in a few months.

The man standing before him did not look like he was going to retire soon.

Alex said he was approaching his seventies, but he did not look a day over fifty.

There were no wrinkles, just as Jason had expected. His skin shone in the light instead, and his hair glistened.

It was wrapped in a bun and looked like it took so much care to look that way.

The hair was a sign that this was his father. He had a large amount of hair, but this was one he usually left falling over his face.

He looked like an angel, perks of living in paradise, aside from the blue ray glasses that shielded his eyes. That was the only proof that old age had set in.

Aside from that, he could be mistaken for a model that just slipped off a magazine cover.
