Chapter 55

Mr. Abbott walked towards her in a black suit with a black hat on top of his head.

He was not just the villain, but he had made an effort to dress the part. Jason had once cracked a joke about how much effort he put into his dressing, saying that he should have been a model and not a businessman.

But as she looked up at him now, the expression on his face was stern. He looked at her with so much disgust, as though he would spit on her.

The last thing she wanted to do was be associated with these brutal, wealthy men who would not hesitate to put someone six feet into the ground in a split second.

She trembled as he reached out and touched the top of her head, his other hand casually in his pocket as he looked down at her.

She looked like a puppet to him in this position. She had been forced to kneel before him.
