Chapter 57

When Sammy came face to face with Jason, he could not believe that he was the gentleman he had seen the other day.

He looked red with anger, something that he had never associated with Jason before. Anger.

But there was a reason why it burned. It was out of fear that Beverly had probably left him, and that there was no chance of seeing him again.

He wanted to pity Jason, but he was not forgetting that he was the reason she had to go away in the first place.

At all costs, he wanted to protect his sister and niece.

"Where are they?" Jason asked without mincing words. All he needed was a direct answer so that he could get to work.

"You think that I would tell you that so easily?" Sammy asked with a mischievous smile. Jason felt challenged. It was not the time to stand up to him, at a time when his anger was raging.

He ordered Sammy to be put into the car, and they drove out of the school.

Sammy could only wonder where they were headed, and Jason had already given the signal.
