16. Fault

"Grandma, please don't do this to me, you already promised me the position as director." Charles let out with a pained voice.

"Clarissa only got the contract with the help of Donald, how can you let someone who relies on others become director? It will only become the fall of our Storm family." He continued.

Lady Storm looked at Charles with a frown on her face.

"It is all your fault, Charles,"

"How? What did I do?" Charles questioned.

"Why did you let William win the arm wrestling yesterday? Who asked you to go easy on him," this particular question came as a hit to Charles who still couldn't believe how he lost.

His grandmother and Florence still think he purposely lost in order to let William take the lead, but it was all far from the truth.

"Answer! If you hadn't let him win, I would have thrown him out of the Storm family and Clarissa would have lost her chance to become director," Lady Storm continued.

She never wanted to give Clarissa the position in the first place.
