Chapter 22: The Divorce Paper

"What!" A soft gasp parted from Georgia's lips when she heard his cold and familiar voice. It was her husband's voice, Smith. She was shocked.

What was he doing in her room? He was supposed to be in prison, right? Different thoughts flooded her mind as Smith stared at her with red-blooded eyes. He looked angry and sad.

He was heartbroken.

"How could you do this to me, Georgia?" He started as he finally found his voice.

She lowered her head to Edward's chest with shame visible on her face. She felt embarrassed and ashamed of herself. Even though she didn't love him, she wasn't supposed to have an affair with another man until they divorced.

She didn't respect him or the marriage.

However, Edward wasn't bothered by Smith's action. He looked relaxed as he caressed Georgia's naked thighs.

"You're back? I thought you were in prison," Her statement touched him, it was as though a ton of bricks hit his heart.
