CHAPTER 46

At first, Derek and Brenda thought that these people who got out of the cars were practically the end of it, as such they had no reason to be scared.

But on the contrary, this was just the beginning.

In a short while, the cars started driving toward them one after another.

The cars were Maybach, Bentley, BMW and several others.

One after the other, the cars rolled to a stop as dozens of besuited and sunglasses-wearing bodyguards stood on both sides of the Maybach which seemed to lead the trail.

The doors were slowly pushed open, and out walked a man, dressed formally and walked with a steady gait.

He straightened his suit, with a bow, he said.

“Miss Reid, Master Smith sends his regards.”

Brenda looked at the man with confusion in her eyes.

Derek gripped his wife’s hand tightly, to make sure he provided her with some warmth and comfort.

The man before them was Baoba. To say it nicely, he was the adopted son of the Smiths.
