Chapter 103

Instead of the manager letting Dave go like Kaiser had wanted, he pulled him to his office and after yelling at him, asked him to take the night off.

Falling on his knees, Dave placed his hand together, “Pardon me, this won't repeat itself, I promise.” He cried, making the manager's head burst with pride.

“Fine, you can stay but avoid serving those guys.” He said and after giving his shoulder a friendly pat, he asked him to leave.

Now outside the casino, Sam who had been notified of the failed mission immediately pulled him to the side.

“Are you alright?” He asked, concern written all over his face as he peered into his eyes.

“Yeah.” Dave nodded, digging his hand into his hair.

Feeling bad for Dave who was at the verge of breakthrough, Sam pulled him into a hug only to receive a punch on his chin.

“Have you lost it?”

Rubbing his aching cheeks with a scowl on his face, Sam yelled, “I was trying to comfort you. I know what it feels to be a loser.”
