161. My Verdict...

With his hands strapped across his chest, Liam was moving from one end to the other, muttering all sorts of words to himself.

It's the morning of Thursday, a day before he appeared before the board of directors to prove his innocence, yet he had been unable to come up with anything.

Alaric men had made sure they cleaned everywhere so he wouldn't find anything that would help him escape, making him vulnerable.

At this point, Liam felt like he was burning up. All he wanted to do was to shout, scream and cry out for help but he couldn't bring himself to do so.

With his hands tucked in his pockets, he stared out of the hotel window, a little smile tugging the side of his lips.

To prevent Rose and Naya from pestering him, he had lied to them that he was under probation at the office and once everything was cleared, he would return to them.

“At least, I had a taste of wealth before I finally got locked up in prison.” He muttered, moving away from the window.
