After ending the call with his mother, Liam raised his head only to lock eyes with Alaric who had been staring at him.

Smirking, he waved to get his attention.

“Come up.” He called out to him, the smile on his face never leaving even for once.

Trying to subdue his anger, Liam clenched his fist by his side and then began to walk towards the elevator, bumping into enraged staff.

The moment he got into Alaric's office, he slammed the door shut, making the whole building shake in response.

“What do you think you are doing?” He yelled, anger welling up in his veins. He took all his will power for him to restrict himself from lunging at him.

“The game is over, Madam Aurelia must have said that to you.” He laughed, hitting his palms together.

Swelling the content of his glass in his hand, he twirled his head to the side, a large smile on his face.
