Nathan's POV

This was Nathan's first time leaving the house since David Lakewood died. He was not only mourning the man's death but also trying to understand why David had chosen to end his life in the first place.

He was trying to process how David had summoned the courage to kill himself when he knew his son was relying heavily on him and would have no one if something happened to David.

He was trying to find closure that Maybe, just maybe, David had done it due to pressure or influence from the public. Still, there was no excusing the fact that what David had done had been a very selfish act.

In the end, the man had only thought about himself and finding the easiest route out of his problems.

The police had investigated the deceased and determined that it was a suicide. David jumped from the top of Angle 135th, the same bar where he met the man just days before his death.
