Leaving the hospital room and not going far, Mr. Beson proactively stopped. He turned to Edward and, with little ado, asked, “Do you have something to discuss with me?”

Although it sounded like a question on the surface, in reality, it was more of a statement. Edward wouldn’t simply want to see him off. This young man was not that straightforward. Mr. Beson was quite certain that Edward was about to share some information that he couldn’t have expected.

With Mrs. Goreng absent from the scene, Edward didn’t need to continue playing the role of an obedient and kind college student. He discarded the facade he had put on earlier and returned to being a cunning Edward.
