Chapter 29: Deception

Leo's fury ignited at the mention the name of Evan. He couldn't fathom how Mr. Sanchez could compare him to that bastard. Leo's hands tightened into fists as he struggled to control his anger.

"How dare you compare me with that despicable man!" Leo bellowed, his voice reverberating throughout the room.

"I have always treated Andrea with generosity and provided her with everything I have, something that Evan never did!"

Mr. Sanchez's eyes narrowed, and he advanced a step, his face flushed with rage. "You think you're superior to him? You're just as reprehensible, if not worse!"

Andrea intervened, placing herself between the two men, her hands extended in a pleading gesture.

"Please, both of you, stop this! I don't want to witness you fighting like this."

Leo's anger gradually subsided as he gazed at Andrea, his eyes filled with concern.

"I apologize, Andrea. I didn't intend to create a scene. But I can't tolerate your father insulting me in such a manner."
